Commercial Law
In everything we do in our Commercial department, we are just like our clients. They tend to be entrepreneurial with a can-do attitude, ambition and vision, but they’re practical and pragmatic too.
So, we listen and then, work out a way to help them achieve their goals. We try to take the “stuffiness” out of the legal process, concentrate on getting things done and always strive to add and offer value. Commercial in every sense, we are transparent in our fees, run a tight ship and spend our client’s money as carefully as we do our own.
We offer a wide range of Commercial Services, some of which is shown below. It’s not an exhaustive list so if you don’t find what you are looking for, give us a call to discuss your needs. Often, we use different terminology for the same piece of work.
You don’t need to worry about all the legal jargon, just contact us to find out how at Sherbornes we make the law work for you.
Whatever it is that you’re looking to achieve, give us a call, tell us what you want to achieve, and we’ll tell you not only whether we can help, but as part of our transparent pricing, we’ll tell you how much it’ll cost.

The new Data Protection Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) affect all businesses, both large and small, that process personal data. Since April 2018, all businesses handling personal data should have carried out risk assessments to determine what personal data they are receiving, how they process it and how they secure that data, as well as having documented internal processes to ensure the security of the data.
Failure to comply can lead to regulatory investigation and fines. This may sound daunting, but we have designed an easy to follow, step by step process to help clients carry out an audit of the data they hold and their processing activities which leads to the preparation of the appropriate policies and procedures. If you would like to know more about this and the process we designed, give us a call or drop us an email.
